It’s easy, adorable, and perfect for keeping little hands busy during the holiday.
Ingredients
- 111 Apple, Granny Smith, cored and sliced into 4 even chunks
- 111 Strawberries, green leafy top sliced off, and then slice your strawberry vertically
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup White Chocolate, Melt with 1/4 tsp coconut oil
- 222 Mini Chocolate Chips, Semi-Sweet
- 555 Grapes, Green
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Take one of the green apple chunks and using a paring knife, carve out a thin mouth.
- Add your strawberry into the thin mouth. If you made the mouth too large, you can always dab nut butter or melted chocolate on the bottom of the strawberry to make it stick.
- Add 2 green grapes to 2 toothpicks and stick them into the top of the apple for the eyes.
- Using a toothpick, make a small circle of white chocolate on the grape eyes. Quickly put a chocolate chip on top.
- Slice a grape in half. Dab melted white chocolate on the bottom and stick them to opposite ends of the apple for arms.
- Slice the other 2 grapes in half. Using the paring knife, cut out little indents at the bottom to make them resemble arms and feet. We sliced off 2 triangles to give our apple frog 3 fingers and toes. Dab them in white chocolate to connect them to the apple frog body.
- Using a spoon, add extra white chocolate to seal the areas where the grapes connect to the main apple.
- Freeze for 15 minutes, and enjoy!
