Bulgogi Sauce Wings (Edit recipe)

These wings are an ultimate favorite in our house. Every time I make them, we declare them the best wings I've made. I love using the marinade from this recipe by my good friend Jean in so many different dishes (I seriously make it weekly), but this is one we have on repeat. So easy, and mouthwateringly delicious every single time.

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Combine all marinade ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Add wings to a zip-top bag, then pour in marinade. Close bag and massage to evenly coat wings.
  3. Allow to marinate in fridge for at least 4 hours, up to overnight (the longer, the better!)
  4. Grill Instructions

    1. Preheat grill to 350˚F.
    2. Carefully place wings on grill in an even layer.
    3. Grill for 45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
    4. Sprinkle with sliced green onions and enjoy!

    Air Fryer Instructions

    1. Preheat air fryer to 375 degrees.
    2. Carefully place wings into air fryer (they can overlap) and set timer for 16 minutes.
    3. Shake the air fryer basket to toss the wings every 5 minutes or so. This will ensure even cooking and browning (and CRISPING).
    4. Turn heat up to 400 degrees for 5 minutes, shaking the air fryer basket twice during that time (every 1 1/2 minutes or so).
    5. Sprinkle with sliced green onions and enjoy!

    Conventional Oven Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 400˚F.
    2. Layer a grid baking rack over a rimmed baking sheet.
    3. Lie wings onto the rack in a single layer, careful not to crowd the rack.
    4. Bake for 45 minutes-1 hour, or until browned and crispy (check at 45 minutes and keep in for an additional 5-15 minutes if they aren't browned).
    5. Sprinkle with sliced green onions and enjoy!

Notes

I left out the Gochugaru in the marinade because I'm sensitive to nightshades!

    I made these a few months ago on a whim after seeing the recipe on IG. The Asian twist really appealed to me. I’m a huge fan of wings, but no ordinary recipe will do. They absolute didn’t disappoint. The sauce is out of this world, and they became a regular in my home after one bite. My neighbor couldn’t stop raving over them either. I highly recommend these and encourage a double batch as they will vanish.
