Ingredients

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Add 4 cups of water, the cinnamon stick and the whole cloves to a large saucepan on medium heat and bring up to a boil. Continue to boil for 10 minutes to allow the spices to infuse the water.
  2. Add the rolled oats and 2 cups of water to a blender and blend until smooth. Then add to the boiling water and spices. Use a whisk to mix together well, then reduce the heat to medium-low, cover and boil for 10 minutes.
  3. After 10 minutes, add the milk, condensed milk and vanilla extract and mix together until fully combined and your porridge is ready.
  4. Serve hot.

Notes

1. For a thicker porridge reduce the water to 5 cups and use three cups of water to boil the spices instead of 4. 2. To make this dairy free, replace the whole milk and sweetened condensed milk with a dairy free alternative like almond or oat milk and sweetened condensed coconut or oat milk.
