Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Using palm shortening, grease the donut pans then set aside.
  2. To make the donuts, combine the flour, cacao powder, banana, honey and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Spoon the batter into donut pan or pipe into pan using a plastic bag. Then place in the oven for about 12 minutes.
  4. While the donuts are cooking, make the pink bows. Place a piece of parchment paper on a small baking sheet. Pour the white chocolate chips in a small bowl and place in the microwave for 30 seconds. Add a few drops of the food coloring and then stir the chocolate until smooth. Pour the chocolate into a small plastic bag. Cut the corner of the bag. Then pipe the chocolate into bow shapes onto the parchment paper. Place the entire baking sheet into the fridge or freezer.
  5. Remove from the donuts from the oven, place the donuts on a wire rack and let cool.
  6. While the donuts are cooling, make the green glaze. Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a small bowl in the microwave for 30 seconds. Add the green food coloring and then stir until smooth. Then dip the donuts into the green chocolate glaze and then set them aside on the wire rack.
  7. Add the sprinkles to the top of the donuts.
  8. Remove the bows from the refrigerator and carefully remove them from the parchment paper.
  9. They are delicate and will break if you’re not careful. Then place the bows onto the donuts.
  10. Serve!

Notes

Make sure to use an artificial dye free food coloring like Watkins. We used dye free sprinkles from Supernatural. We used Pascha Chocolate chips for this recipe. Make sure to use Beth Blends Grain Free Flour Blend (pink bag) for this recipe. You’ll need a donut pan for this recipe. We used this one from Wilton. https://bit.ly/46BB72Z
