Gingerbread Man Chocolate Rice Krispies
How adorable are these festive gingerbread Rice Krispie treats? They're made with more wholesome ingredients than traditional Rice Krispies. I used my homemade marshmallow fluff for these (see the recipe on my page or search marshmallow fluff), organic brown rice krisps, and dye free chocolate gems for buttons!
Ingredients
- 5 cups5 cups5 cups Brown Rice Crisps
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Butter, Unsalted, Or vegan butter
- 8 oz8 oz8 oz Homemade Marshmallow Fluff (click for recipe)
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Chocolate Gems - Unreal
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Make marshmallow fluff and set aside (can make it before hand and refrigerate until ready to use)
- -warm butter on stove top until melted, then add your fluff and stir until combined
- -pour into a bowl with your rice cereal and combine to coat all cereal
- -press down onto parchment paper
- -spray or dampen a gingerbread man cookie cutter with water, then press into mixture to make gingerbread men treats
- -use organic white icing (simple mills or miss jones brand are great) to make gingerbread outlines, then chocolate gems as buttons
- -refrigerate until ready to eat!
