Herby Plantain Croutons
Crispy, crunchy croutons on top of a fresh salad is the best! These Plantain Croutons are super easy made in the air fryer and hard not to gobble up before they get on the salad! Just 4 ingredients and 15 minutes to air fry and they are ready! If you are lucky enough to have leftovers, they keep well in a glass jar for several days!
Ingredients
- 2 whole2 whole2 whole Plantain, not overly ripe
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Avocado Oil
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Little Palates Herb Garden Seasoning, see note
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Kosher Flake Salt - Primal Palate

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Peel & cut plantains into small cubes
- Toss in a bowl with oil
- Add spice and salt & toss again
- Place in air fryer set to 350˚
- Cook 10-15 minutes shaking every 5 minutes
- Cook till desired crispness

if you don’t have Primal Palate Herb Garden Seasoning you can substitute 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp onion powder & 1/4 tsp parsley
