Hoagie Salad
Everyone loves a good hoagie but have you ever had a Hoagie Salad? This veggie packed salad has all your favorites like ham, turkey, pepperoni, roasted peppers, pepperoncini, and more! Without the big roll it is healthier and low carb too. The fun part is you can add or take out ingredients to make it just like your favorite hoagie. The Italian dressing has just the right amount of tang you would expect to find on a traditional hoagie. I can’t wait for you to try this Hoagie Salad!
Ingredients
- 2 cups2 cups2 cups Romaine Lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Green Cabbage, finely shredded
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Red Cabbage, finely shredded
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Carrot Sticks
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Cherry Tomato, cut in half
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Deli Turkey, sliced in thin strips, see note
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Deli Ham, sliced in thin strips, see note
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Uncured Pepperoni, sliced thin, see note
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Roasted Red Pepper, sliced thin
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup pepperoncini peppers, sliced thin
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Red Onion, sliced thinly
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Red Wine Vinegar
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Nutritional Yeast
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Lemon Juice, fresh squeezed
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Dried Parsley
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp dried Oregano
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp dried Basil
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Salt
- 0.2 tsp0.2 tsp0.2 tsp Black Pepper

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Combine all dressing ingredients in a ball jar, shake well and set aside while you prepare the salad
- Chop your romaine lettuce and place in a large bowl
- Finely shred the green and purple cabbage
- and add to the bowl
- Add carrot sticks to the bowl
- Slice red onion thinly and add to the bowl
- Cut cherry tomatoes in half and add to the bowl
- Slice ham, turkey, pepperoni, roasted peppers and pepperoncini and add to the bowl
- Pour dressing over salad and toss to combine
- Enjoy!

Be sure to look for deli meats that are Whole30 and Paleo friendly
