A sour, lemony take on your regular margarita. The main character of this marg is the Meyer lemon for hints of sweetness, citrusyness, and of course, a taste of spring!

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results

Rim Glass

  1. On a flat surface or plate, add 1 tsp agave nectar in the shape of a circle that's similar in circumference as the glass. Sprinkle Tajín or chili-lime seasoning over the agave.
  2. Take glass and press the rim into the seasoning and agave and twist until the rim is coated evenly. Set aside.

Make the Marg

  1. In the large glass or shaker add 1 cup ice, tequila, lime juice, Meyer lemon juice, honey and agave nectar. Stir until honey and agave dissolve (it'll take a while be patient).
  2. Add remaining ice to rimmed glass. Strain the margarita into the glass.
  3. Kick back, relax, and enjoy!

Notes

Use which tequila you like, I used teremana blanco 🙂
