Oven-Baked Lemon Garlic Salmon (Edit recipe)

You need only a few pantry ingredients, your favorite store-bought Lemon Garlic dressing and less than 30 minutes to make this Oven-Baked Lemon Garlic Salmon on a busy weeknight. This recipe is Whole30 compatible as long as you use a Whole30 compatible Lemon Garlic dressing (or make it at home following the recipe in the notes section) and is the easiest, quickest, most delicious way to transform a salmon filet.

Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Preheat the oven at 375F and arrange a large piece of aluminum foil on a baking tray.
  2. On the foil, add 1 tbsp of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and spread it using either your fingers or a brush.
  3. Arrange 3-4 slices of lemon and rest the salmon filet on the lemon slices.
  4. Add 1 tsp of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1/2 tsp Salt and 1/4 tsp freshly ground Black Pepper. Massage it into the salmon using either your fingers or a brush.
  5. Turn the salmon filet and repeat the same on the other side.
  6. Brush 1 tbsp of your favorite store-bought Lemon Garlic dressing (or see notes on how to make it at home) all over the salmon.
  7. Lay 3-4 slices of lemon on the salmon, followed by 2 sliced garlic cloves.
  8. Wrap the salmon with the foil and seal it well.
  9. Bake it in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Then broil it uncovered for 5 minutes.
  10. Garnish it with some chopped parsley and enjoy!

Notes

For homemade Whole30 compatible Lemon Garlic dressing - add 1 small clove of garlic (minced), 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice, 1/2 tsp of finely grated lemon zest, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper, 1/4 tsp ground mustard and 2-3 tbsp Extra virgin Olive Oil to a mason jar and shake well until combined.
