ayo! pro tip from a dietitian: veggies are key, but chopping doesn’t have to be 🥦. here’s an easy side dish that’s all prep & zero stress — just dump, heat, don’t touch (seriously), deglaze, season, & you’re done👌. crispy, caramelized veggies in 20 minutes or less — no chopping required.
Ingredients
- 1 - 2 lb1 - 2 lb1 - 2 lb Frozen Vegetables, any veggies!
- Water
- Salt and Pepper, or any seasonings you like
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- dump frozen veggies into a skillet.
- turn heat as high as it can go.
- leave the veggies ALONE (lol, but stay close by).
- once you start to notice veggies start to brown & moisture evaporate, turn heat down to medium.
- pour in a little water to pick up a little of the caramelization on the bottom & continue to cook until fully caramelized.
- at the end, season with any of your favorite seasonings.
- add to any dish for an easy veggie side.
