Sesame Ginger Beef Salad
It’s summer, which for me means salads, salads, salads. I hate turning the oven on in the summer. A quick saute is all you need to create a tasty summer salad. The Asian sesame dressing just takes this simple salad to a different yummy place!
Ingredients
- .5 lb.5 lb.5 lb Skirt Steak, thinly sliced
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Sea Salt
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 4 cups4 cups4 cups Lettuce, Romaine, small chopped
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Cabbage, Napa (Wong Bak), small chopped
- .5 cup.5 cup.5 cup Red Cabbage, thinly sliced
- 111 Carrots, small chopped
- 111 Green Onion (Scallion), Thinly sliced

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Prepare the vegetables and divide into two bowls. Set in fridge to stay cold.
- While you cut the skirt steak heat up a medium saute pan on medium-high heat.
- Put salt on the cut up steak pieces.
- Add oil and saute the steaks until golden brown on each side. Cook in batches, don’t overcrowd the pan.
- Remove onto a plate to cool just a little before putting on salad.
- Once steak is cooked remove salads and coat with dressing, stir to coat everything.
- Add steak on top and enjoy.
