Slow Cooker French Onion Chicken
This slow cooker French onion chicken can be easily prepared in the morning for a home cooked meal at night
Ingredients
- 2 lb2 lb2 lb Chicken Breast, sliced into filets lengthwise
- 111 Onion, thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Ghee, melted
- 2 tsp2 tsp2 tsp Garlic, minced
- 1.5 cups1.5 cups1.5 cups Beef Broth
- 1/2 tsp1/2 tsp1/2 tsp dried Thyme
- 1/3 cup1/3 cup1/3 cup Gruyere Cheese, or Swiss cheese (optional)
- Salt and Pepper, to taste

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- In a medium sized bowl, whisk together ghee, thyme, minced garlic, beef broth and Noble Made Citrus & Herb Marinade.
- Add in sliced onions to the bottom of a crockpot and pour in half of beef broth marinade mixture and stir to fully coat onions.
- Layer the chicken breast filets over the onions. Pour remaining marinade over chicken breast and cover crock pot.
- Cook on HIGH for 3 hours or LOW for 6-8 hours. Serve chicken breasts with onions on top. OPTIONAL: Add gruyere or swiss cheese on top of chicken breasts during last 30 minutes of cooking
