Tequila Lime Chicken Marinade
I was born and raised in California. I love the flavors of a margarita so this tequila lime marinade pairs perfectly with any Mexican dish you are creating. I love it on chicken, but pork works great as well. It is the flavor of a margarita on a plate.
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Tequila
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Lime, Zested and juiced
- 2 cloves2 cloves2 cloves Garlic, Sliced
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Sea Salt
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Black Pepper
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
- 2 pieces2 pieces2 pieces Chicken Breast, Bone in skin on if BBQing

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Put chicken in a plastic ziplock bag.
- Add all ingredients to bag and zip up.
- Massage around so that the marinade coats the chicken.
- Refrigerate for 4-6 hours.
- BBQ until 165 degrees in middle.
Notes
You can also use this for kabobs with onions and bell peppers for added veggies.
