Whole30 BBQ Burgers
These Whole30 BBQ Burgers combine some great flavors into an epic burger. I hope you try these burgers for your next cookout, backyard BBQ, Fourth of July party, or just any old weeknight. You won’t be disappointed!
Ingredients
- 2 lb2 lb2 lb Ground Beef, grass-fed
- 1/2 cup1/2 cup1/2 cup Onion, (white) diced small
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/4 tsp1/4 tsp1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/4 tsp1/4 tsp1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 to 2 Tbsp1 to 2 Tbsp1 to 2 Tbsp Barbecue Sauce, (The New Primal Classic BBQ Sauce)
- 111 Red Onion, sliced

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Preheat grill to 400 degrees. Meanwhile, add olive oil and onion to a skillet over medium. Cook 4-5 minutes or until softened and tender.
- Remove onion from skillet and add to a mixing bowl. Add burger, pepper, sea salt, and The New Primal Classic BBQ sauce to the same mixing bowl. Mix with hands until combined; don't overwork the meat. If you want to add more BBQ sauce, feel free. It might make your burgers less sturdy though.
- Form about 8 burger patties. Spray grill with avocado oil and grill for 4-5 minutes per side.
- To assemble: top butter lettuce with burger, a thick slice of tomato and a slice of red onion.
