Asian Ground Beef and Cabbage Stir Fry (Paleo, Whole30)
Quick & easy Asian ground beef cabbage stir fry that's packed with flavor and perfect for weeknights! It's a delicious dish that paleo and Whole30-friendly. Serve it over rice, cauliflower rice, or even noodles!
Ingredients
- .5 cup.5 cup.5 cup Coconut Aminos
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
- 2 tsp2 tsp2 tsp Sesame Oil
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Red Pepper Flakes, crushed
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Avocado Oil, (or your favorite cooking oil)
- 111 Onion, chopped
- 1 lb1 lb1 lb Ground Beef
- 4 cloves4 cloves4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 1-inch pieces1 1-inch pieces1 1-inch pieces Ginger Root, grated
- 1 head1 head1 head Cabbage, thinly sliced (about 8 cups)
- .5 cup.5 cup.5 cup Carrots, shredded
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- Sesame Seeds, (for garnish)
- Green Onion (Scallion), sliced (for garnish)

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Stir together all the sauce ingredients. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
- Add onion and cook stirring until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in ginger and garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon.- about 5 minutes.
- Stir in shredded cabbage, carrots, and the sauce. Cook stirring until the cabbage is wilted and the sauce is cooked down, about 5 minutes
- Taste to add salt and/or pepper. Serve warm, sprinkled with green onions and sesame seeds.
