Barbecue Baked beans
Barbecue baked beans are the perfect addition as a side. You could make these in a pan on the grill or in the oven. This version was made with veggies but you can also make it with ground turkey or ground beef.

Ingredients
- 28 oz28 oz28 oz Baked Beans, Original
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Bell Pepper, Any color/chopped
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup Brown Sugar
- 0.25 cup0.25 cup0.25 cup No Sugar Ketchup - True Made Foods

- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Pitmaster Original (Kansas City-Style) BBQ Sauce - True Made Foods

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- On a cutting board cut off the top of a bell pepper and remove the seeds
- Dice the bell pepper into small squares cubes
- Spray a large skillet with non stick spray and place on medium heat
- Sauté the bell pepper for 10 - 15 minutes until soft and slightly browned
- Turn off the heat and add original barbecue sauce and ketchup
- Stir together
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
- Open your can(s) of beans and drain half of the juice/sauce
- Add the beans to a medium oven safe container
- Add Sautéed bell peppers, bbq sauce & ketchup mixture
- Top with brown sugar and stir everything together
- Bake in the oven for 15 minutes

You can choose to get the original canned baked beans, hickory smoke or Maple Bacon depending on your preference. The original is easier to control the flavor profile.
