Blush Sauce
A creamy and delicious light tomato sauce that is so easy to make but tastes like restaurant quality.
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
- .5.5.5 Vidalia Onion, very small), diced
- 3 cloves3 cloves3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 28 oz28 oz28 oz Tomato Sauce, (smooth, no chunks)
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Tomato Paste
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Bees Knees Spicy Honey, or other hot honey (you can use 1 tsp of sugar and .5 tsp of instead)
- .333 cup.333 cup.333 cup White Wine, (dry)
- .75 cup.75 cup.75 cup Half and Half
- .5 cup.5 cup.5 cup Parmesan Cheese, Grated

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat. Once it starts to sizzle, add the onion and garlic.
- Once the garlic and onion are starting to brown, add the tomato sauce and white wine and then cook for 5-7 minutes (uncovered), stirring frequently.
- Add the tomato paste and hot honey, and stir until incorporated. Cover the pan slightly and cook on a low heat for 20 minutes.
- Add the half and half and grated parmesan. Mix and taste. Add some black pepper or a touch of salt if needed.
