  1. Grill the ear of corn, rotating every 5 minutes until cooked through (about 20 minutes total). Grill the apple slices for about 2-3 minutes per side. Split the arugula, blue cheese, red onion, tomato, avocado, and pecans between two bowls. Cut the grilled corn off the cob, and split it between the two bowls. Split the grilled apples between the two bowls. In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, mustard, honey, and garlic powder, and season with salt and pepper as desired. Drizzle the dressing over the two salads, and enjoy!
