Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Make brown butter: Slice butter into pats. Heat a thick bottom skillet on medium heat, add butter, and whisk as the butter melts.
  3. Once butter has fully melted, it will start to foam. You will notice small brown pieces at the bottom of the pan. Cook until butter smells slightly nutty and is light brown (about 4-5 minutes).
  4. Remove the butter from heat and pour into a bowl so it does not continue to cook and burn.
  5. In a large mixing bowl combine the browned butter, cinnamon, vanilla, egg, and Ultimate Cookie Mix. Stir until combined.
  6. Spread into the 8x8-inch pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes. The edges will be lightly browned.
  7. While the blondies are baking, make the maple glaze. Using the same pan as for the brown butter, add ¼ cup butter and maple syrup. Heat over low heat.
  8. As the butter begins to melt, whisk in the sifted powdered sugar (make sure there are no lumps).
  9. Once all the glaze ingredients are combined, pour it on top of the blondies. Sprinkle sea salt on top, and let sit so they can harden (30-60 minutes).
  10. Once the glaze has hardened, slice and serve!
