Slow Cooker Shredded Meat Ragu
Ingredients
- 2 lb2 lb2 lb Beef Short Ribs, (or pork or beef roast, 1 lb if using boneless)
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Bell Pepper, diced (see notes)
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Onion, diced (see notes)
- 8.5 oz8.5 oz8.5 oz Mediterranean Inspired Flavor Starter Sauce - Mesa de Vida, or Mesa de Vida Starter Sauce of choice (1 bottle)
- 1-2 cups1-2 cups1-2 cups red Wine, and/or broth
- Salt, to taste/health needs

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Sear beef if desired. Add ingredients to the slow cooker, stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Serve as a stew, or over mashed potatoes, rice, couscous, quinoa, pasta, or wrapped in warm tortillas.
