BLT Coleslaw with Bleu Cheese Crumbles
Want to take your classic coleslaw to the next level? This BLT Coleslaw with Bleu Cheese Crumbles is creamy and has all the fixings of a BLT combined to make the most deliciously easy side dish! If you omit the bleu cheese it is Paleo and Whole30 friendly!
Ingredients
- 18 oz18 oz18 oz Coleslaw Mix (Shredded Cabbage and Carrots)
- 8 oz8 oz8 oz Bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
- 1 pint1 pint1 pint Cherry Tomato, cut in half, you can use grape tomatoes too
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Red Onion, diced
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup organic Blue Cheese Crumbles, optional but highly recommend because bleu cheese!
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Avocado Oil Mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Medjool Date Syrup
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Celery Seed
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Salt
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Black Pepper

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Cook your bacon and drain on plate with paper towels on it and then crumble and set aside
- In a small bowl add all of the dressing ingredients and whisk well
- In a large bowl add all of the coleslaw ingredients except for the bleu cheese crumbles and toss well
- Pour dressing over the slaw mixing well to be sure all of the slaw is coated with the dressing
- Top with bleu cheese crumbles just before serving tossing once more
- Enjoy!
Notes
Omit the bleu cheese to keep this recipe Paleo and Whole30 compatible.
