- Soak the dates in hot water for 10-15 minutes, then drain.
- In a food processor, blend the soaked dates until smooth.
- Add the melted butter or avocado oil, then the eggs, and vanilla bean paste. Pulse gently to combine.
- Incorporate the almond flour and Dutch cocoa powder, mixing gently.
- Fold in the sea salt and baking powder last. Don’t overmix!
- Hand-stir in the chocolate chips or nuts of your choice
- Pour the batter into an 8x8 inch baking dish and bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes.
Notes
