Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream in a Jar
Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream, made in a jar. This creamy and delicious ice cream is not only loaded with chunks of peanut butter cups, it also has melted peanut butter cups swirled into the ice cream base creating an even more luxurious peanut butter cup ice cream. The ultimate peanut-butter-chocolate lovers dream!
Ingredients
- 1 cup1 cup1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- SugarSugar
- .5 tsp.5 tsp.5 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 555 Reese's Miniature Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Add the heavy whipping cream, sugar, and vanilla extract to a mason jar.
- Chop up two of the Reese's and add them to the mason jar, put the lid on and shake the ice cream mixture for about 30 seconds.
- Add one Reese's to a microwave safe bowl. Add one tablespoon of heavy whipping cream to the bowl. Microwave the Reeses for 20 seconds, until melted. Use a fork to mix the chocolate in with the heavy whipping cream until smooth.
- Pour the melted peanut butter chocolate mixture into the mason jar. Put the lid on the jar and shake for 20 seconds.
- Once it's been shaken, pour the ice cream mixture into a plastic container.
- Chop up the remaining two Reese's and sprinkle them on top of the ice cream mixture.
- Place the ice cream mixture in the freezer. While the ice cream is freezing, stir it every two hours to keep the ice cream from separating.
- Freeze for four hours, or until it's completely frozen.
- Once frozen, scoop and enjoy!
