sushi at home can feel a little intimidating, so this is the easy, just-as-satisfying version. the avocado portion is infused with wasabi (a sushi necessity) + cottage cheese (for that cream cheese-esque texture), then making a spicy “mayo” with good ole greek yogurt + my favorite primal kitchen buffalo sauce. toss that with REAL lump crab meat (no imitation here 👀), & boom — you’ve got magic. gluten-free, protein-packed, & bringing serious sushi flavor flav to your lunch time toast. ✨

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. first add bread to a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes to “toast” bottom of bread.
  2. using a food processor or immersion blender, puree together all ingredients for wasabi avocado “cream cheese”.
  3. in a bowl, combine all ingredients for the spicy greek yogurt “mayo”.
  4. to a separate bowl, combine crab, diced cucumbers, & a couple spoonfuls of your spicy greek yogurt “mayo”.
  5. to build toast, remove toast from skillet then layer on: wasabi avocado “cream cheese” → crab mixture → extra drizzle of spicy greek yogurt “mayo” → furikake.
  6. serve with your favorite veggies & any other sides you like!
