Plum Pulled Pork
Time to break out that slow cooker and get ready for the most incredible Plum Pulled Pork! Just a few ingredients and a jar of Mesa de Vida North African recipe starter sauce and you are on your way to the tastiest pulled pork you ever had! This dish is topped with plums sautéed in "buttery" ghee and cinnamon taking it to the next level. This dish is simply amazing!
Ingredients
- 2 - 3 lb2 - 3 lb2 - 3 lb Pork Loin
- 9 oz9 oz9 oz Moroccan Inspired Flavor Starter Sauce - Mesa de Vida
- 3 cups3 cups3 cups Chicken Bone Broth
- 2 lb2 lb2 lb Baby Potatoes, left whole
- 1 whole1 whole1 whole Onion, large, cut in chunks
- 6 whole6 whole6 whole Carrots, cut in 2" pieces
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Black Pepper
- 6 whole6 whole6 whole Plums, black plums, pitted & cut in wedges
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Ghee
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 0.125 tsp0.125 tsp0.125 tsp Salt

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Place potatoes, carrots and onion in the bottom of your slow cooker
- Pat pork dry and season well with salt and pepper
- Place pork loin on top of veggies
- Pour chicken broth over
- Pour North African sauce over pork
- Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours
- Meanwhile, sauté plums in ghee, cinnamon & salt about 10 minutes until the start to brown
- Remove pork & shred
- Return pork to pot & mix with sauce
- Serve with plums on top
