Pork Chops with Mushroom & Shallot Gravy
Tender, juicy Pork Chops with Mushroom & Shallot Gravy is the perfect comfort meal to welcome the cooler nights as fall begins. I served it over my Whipped Mashed Potatoes to soak up all the delicious sauce!
Ingredients
- 4 - 6 whole4 - 6 whole4 - 6 whole Pork Chop, pat dry & sprinkle with salt & pepper
- 3 - 4 whole3 - 4 whole3 - 4 whole Shallot, sliced thin
- 10 oz10 oz10 oz White Mushrooms, sliced
- 3 Tbsp3 Tbsp3 Tbsp Ghee
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp dried Thyme
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Black Pepper
- 16.9 oz16.9 oz16.9 oz Chicken Bone Broth, see notes
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Add oil to pan and turn heat up to medium high
- Add chops and sear 5 minutes each side and move a plate
- Add ghee to pan, melt
- Add mushrooms, shallots, garlic powder, slat & thyme, cooking till mushrooms begin to brown
- Add Dijon, bone broth & balsamic, mix well
- Add chops back to pan, cover & simmer about 10 minutes or till sauce thickens

I use Kettle & Fire chicken bone broth which comes in a 16.9 oz box but you can use chicken broth as well.
