Steak and Shrimp Kabobs
Steak and Shrimp Kabobs that take only 6-8 minutes on the grill to cook then slathered in the most amazing Garlic & Herb Ghee! Yes please! Lets just say you will need to double this one as David and I ate it all. The shrimp are so tender and sweet and the steak comes out a perfect medium rare. If you like it more well done you can cook the steak on skewers separately from the shrimp and leave them on a bit longer. This is the perfect dish to enjoy all summer long!
Ingredients
- 1 lb1 lb1 lb Raw Shrimp, tails off & deveined
- 1 lb1 lb1 lb Beef Sirloin Steak Tips, cut in cubes
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Black Pepper
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Ghee
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Salt
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Black Pepper
- 3 cloves3 cloves3 cloves Garlic, minced fine
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
- 4 - 6 whole4 - 6 whole4 - 6 whole fresh Basil, leaves, chopped
- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Flat Leaf Parsley, chopped
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp fresh Oregano, chopped

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Melt ghee in small pan
- Add garlic & stir one minute & remove from heat
- Add remaining Garlic & Herb Ghee ingredients, stir well & set aside
- In another bowl add shrimp, steak, olive oil, salt & pepper, mixing well
- Skewer shrimp & steak, if using wood skewers soak in water for 30 minutes first
- Cook on preheated grill, turning every 2 minutes for a total of 6-8 minutes depending on how you like your steak.
- 6 minutes will be medium rare
- Remove to plate and brush generously with sauce
- Save extra sauce for dipping
