Apple Crisp
Apple Crisp is a classic loved by all! This sugar free version is practically guilt free so go ahead and have that second piece! There is nothing like fresh, crisp apples paired with raisins and cinnamon topped with crunchy nuts. An apple pie lovers dream come true!
Ingredients
- 6 - 8 whole6 - 8 whole6 - 8 whole Pink Lady Apple, large, peeled, cored & sliced thin
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Raisins, unsweetened
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 0.5 tsp0.5 tsp0.5 tsp Salt
- 2 cups2 cups2 cups Organic Walnuts, chopped, can mix with pecans too
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Ghee, room temperature
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Almond Meal/Flour
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Arrowroot Powder

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Preheat oven to 350
- Mix apples with cinnamon
- Add raisins and toss
- Pour into 8x8 square or 9" round pie dish
- Mix walnuts, almond flour, salt & arrowroot in a bowl
- Now mix in ghee - I crumble with my fingers
- Pour topping over apples
- Bake 45-50 minutes till apples are tender and top is golden
- Enjoy!
