Process

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
  1. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and chili powder to create a spice rub.
  2. Sprinkle the spice rub over the seared pork, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
  3. Set your Instant Pot to sautu00e9 mode. Add oil and let it heat up.
  4. Sear the pork chunks until they get a nice brown crust. This adds a rich flavor to the dish. Once done, hit cancel.
  5. Pour the Chicken stock over the pork. This will provide a savory base for the pork.
  6. Close the Instant Pot lid and set it to High Pressure for 60 minutes. Let the pressure release naturally for about 15 minutes, then manually release any remaining pressure.
  7. Remove the pork and using two forks, shred the tender pork directly in the pot.
  8. Pour in your favorite store-bought BBQ sauce. Mix it well with the shredded pork until everything is evenly coated.
