mediterranean mezze poke bowl
i sure do LOVE a poke bowl… & i love fusing different flavors & cuisines together. 🥙🍣✨
this poke bowl is getting a mediterranean makeover! high-protein, packed with fiber, healthy fats, omega-3s, & all the bold mezze flavors in one colorful bowl.
Ingredients
- Arugula, or greens of choice
- cilantro-lime cauliflower rice (click for recipe)
- seared ahi tuna (click for recipe)
- Za'atar, or mediterranean seasoning blend of choice, for coating tuna
- Furikake, for coating tuna
- 1/2 cup1/2 cup1/2 cup classic hummus (click for recipe), see notes for a "no-blend" hummus
- 2-4 Tbsp2-4 Tbsp2-4 Tbsp Harissa Paste, to add to hummus
- 1-2 Tbsp1-2 Tbsp1-2 Tbsp Golden Monkfruit Sweetener (with Allulose) - Lakanto, to add to hummus

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- combines tuna + marinade; marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- follow instructions for making seared ahi tuna with za’atar (or your favorite mediterranean seasoning) & furikake seasoning.
- allow tuna to rest, then dice.
- make the harissa hummus by either adding harissa to my classic hummus recipe OR see notes for how to make a “no-blend” hummus.
- to assemble poke bowls, first start with a base of greens or cauliflower rice.
- add on diced za’atar ahi tuna + any toppings you like (I listed all my mediterranean inspired poke toppings).
- finish with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar & enjoy.
Notes
"no-blend" harissa hummus: mix all ingredients together & enjoy!
- 1/4 cup greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup prest harissa red pepper hummus
- 2-4 T harissa paste
- 1-2 T monk fruit, optional
- 1 T lemon juice, water, or olive oil to reach desired consistency
