yakisoba skillet
there was (& probably still is) a newspaper clipping for easy yakisoba at my parents’ house. 😂🍜✨
we ate it soooo much growing up, but i decided to give it a little upgrade—using just one skillet.
packed with protein, loaded with veggies, & full of those sweet-savory yakisoba flavors i remember. this version is perfect for busy weeknights & meal prep alike.
Ingredients
- 1-1.5 lb1-1.5 lb1-1.5 lb Ground Beef, or neat of choice

- 24 oz24 oz24 oz Stir-Fry Vegetables, Frozen
- 10 oz 10 oz 10 oz Water Chestnuts, drained & sliced
- 222 Hearts of Palm Spaghetti, i used angel hair
- 1/4 cup1/4 cup1/4 cup Unsweetened Classic Ketchup - Yo Mama's Foods

- 1/4 cup1/4 cup1/4 cup Coconut Aminos
- 1/4 cup1/4 cup1/4 cup Golden Monkfruit Sweetener (with Allulose) - Lakanto

- 2 Tbsp2 Tbsp2 Tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar
- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Ginger, Ground

- 1 tsp1 tsp1 tsp Garlic Powder

- 1/2 tsp1/2 tsp1/2 tsp Gochugaru (Korean Chili Pepper Flakes), optional

- 1/2 tsp1/2 tsp1/2 tsp Szechuan Peppercorns - Texas Salt Co., optional
- 1 Tbsp1 Tbsp1 Tbsp Arrowroot Flour, mixed in a little water
- Sesame Seeds, for garnishing

Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- to a large skillet, brown ground beef.
- once beef is browned, drain excess grease, then transfer beef to a plate.
- add frozen stir-fry veggies to the skillet first & cook for 8-10 minutes.
- add ground beef, water chestnuts, & pasta to skillet.
- in a bowl, combine all sauce ingredients & mix well.
- pour sauce + water (as needed) into mixture & simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- garnish with sesame seeds & enjoy.
